A nasty incident occurred early Friday morning in a parking lot where a driver hit two people, according to the Gresham Police Department. The accident happened around 3:15 a.m., and police officers immediately arrived at the scene, located in the 17500 block of Southeast Stark Street. According to police, the driver was making risky maneuvers, known as "cookies," in the parking lot when a collision with two people occurred. The driver also collided with two parked cars during the incident.

Both victims were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention, and fortunately, their condition is expected to improve. Their injuries, while serious, are not considered life-threatening, which provides some relief amid the unfortunate circumstances. Authorities have identified the driver, he turned out to be 21-year-old Alonso Seja-Uribe. Following the incident, Seja-Uribe was taken into police custody and subsequently taken to jail. He faces charges of reckless driving and traffic violations, which underscores the seriousness of the incident.

During the investigation, police discovered a link between Seha-Uribe and the victims. It turned out that these people were acquainted with the driver, which further complicates the situation. Of particular interest is the fact that at least one of the victims filmed the driver's reckless actions on camera at the time of the collision.
