A terrifying incident occurred early Friday morning in Southeast Portland that drew the attention of local law enforcement. Portland Police officers quickly arrived on the scene of a shooting that left one person injured and in need of immediate medical attention. Officers quickly arrived in the area of SE Flavel Street and SE 92nd Avenue after responding to a distress call just before 4 a.m. The courageous response of the police officers ensured that the injured man was expected to survive.
