The ambulance crew gave Runge CPR and transported him to the hospital, but unfortunately he later died from his injuries. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities during the inquiry. Police have stated that alcohol intoxication does not appear to be the cause of the accident. However, an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident and whether any charges will be filed against the truck driver.
