There was a bizarre incident Friday morning in Huyton, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia: an out-of-control semi-truck went out of control and crashed into a house. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident, but the house sustained significant structural damage. According to a report by 9 News, the empty flatbed truck was parked atop a hill on North Valley Road in Hayton when it suddenly began to roll down the slope. Gaining speed, the truck collided with a passenger car before going off the road and hitting a curb. The truck then nearly hit a tree before crashing into a bedroom of a house on Mont D'or Parade. The occupants of the house were at home, but they managed to get out unharmed. The operator of the truck, a 61-year-old male, was not in the vehicle when it began to roll. He spoke to police, who arrived on the scene to investigate the incident. The accident caused extensive structural damage to the house, and it is unknown if the family will be able to return to their home anytime soon.

We took this video from 9 News Australia YouTube Channel.

The cause of the accident is not yet known, but authorities are investigating the incident to determine the factors that caused the truck to rampage uncontrollably.

This incident underscores the importance of ensuring that vehicles are properly secured, especially on hills and other slopes. It also highlights the need for homeowners to be vigilant and prepared for unexpected accidents that could cause significant damage to their property.
