Tragedy struck the community of Taylors Falls, Minnesota, when the body of a young man was discovered in the St. Croix River more than a month after he disappeared. According to a press release, a group of canoeists spotted the body floating in the water around 11 a.m. Friday. The Chisago County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene and the body was taken to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy and identification.

Although authorities have not officially confirmed the identity of the deceased, they suspect it may be an 18-year-old Wisconsin woman who went missing after stepping off a path in Interstate Park.
