David, a truck driver who was struck by a Greyhound bus while parked outside of a rest stop, is being hailed as a hero for his quick actions in helping people out of the burning bus. Despite being fast asleep when the incident occurred, David wasted no time in jumping out of his rig and rushing to the aid of those in need. According to David, the flame had started in the axle and was dangerously close to the motor and fuel tank. If left unchecked, it could have resulted in a tragic outcome. With no regard for his own safety, David sprang into action, working tirelessly to put out the fire and help the passengers escape.

We took this video from FOX 2 St. Louis YouTube Channel.

Among those he helped was a pregnant woman who was trapped inside the bus. David managed to pull her out through a window and get her to safety. His heroic efforts have been praised by many, including KMOX News who interviewed him about the incident.

The incident serves as a reminder of the bravery and selflessness exhibited by many truck drivers on our roads. Despite the dangers they face every day, these individuals continue to work tirelessly to keep our economy moving and ensure that goods are delivered on time. David's actions are a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit, and a reminder that we all have the power to make a difference in the lives of others.
