One man suffered burn injuries in a flat blaze in Happy Valley early Sunday afternoon, according to Clackamas Fire. Fire crews reacted to the incident around 3:15 a.m., located in the 12300 block of Southeast 104th Court in Happy Valley.

On arrival, fire crews put out the flames, which caused extensive damage to two flats and smoke in four more. Unfortunately, one person suffered burns as a result of the fire, but there is no word yet on his current condition.

Four people were displaced from their homes as a result of the blaze and the reason for the flame is still under investigation. The enquiry aims at determining the reason of the flame, which could be due to various causes such as faulty electrical equipment, gas leakage or human error.

Residents affected by the incident have been urged to approach the authorities concerned for support, including financial assistance and housing. Meanwhile, the Clackamas Fire Department has urged residents to make sure that proper fire safety measures are in place in their homes to prevent future incidents.

One person suffered burns in the Happy Valley flat fire, four people were forced to leave their homes and several flats were damaged by the fire. The investigation is continuing to establish the cause of the fire.
