A devastating pileup crash occurred on Tuesday evening in North Carolina, causing significant damage to multiple vehicles and injuring several people. The incident took place at around 6 p.m. on June 6, at the Wilson County/Wayne County line near Black Creek in North Carolina. According to authorities, a total of 24 cars were involved in the accident on I-795.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance to those involved in the pileup. At least 12 people were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment of injuries. Fortunately, none of the injuries sustained were life-threatening.

One of the cars involved in the crash was a propane tanker, but thankfully, the tanker was vacant at the time of the collision. The cause of the pileup crash was reportedly limited visibility caused by a nearby blaze. Local outlet WRAL has reported that a blaze in a wheat field near the accident site produced a large amount of smoke, which reduced visibility for drivers on the road.

This unfortunate incident highlights the importance of staying alert and cautious while driving, especially in areas where visibility may be compromised due to weather conditions or other factors. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash to determine whether any additional factors contributed to the incident. In the meantime, drivers are urged to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of others on the road.
