Portland Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night in downtown. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Southwest Morrison Street, near Southwest 5th Avenue. One person was reportedly injured in the shooting and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, the injuries sustained are not life-threatening. Police have confirmed that one person was detained at the scene. However, his identity has not yet been confirmed. The investigation is ongoing and no other details about the incident have been released at this time.
