An Apple store burglary at Willow Grove Mall in Pennsylvania took a dramatic turn when a man was injured while trying to escape. Abdi Vasuge, posing as a shopper, stole 2 MacBook Pro laptops, an iPhone 14 and other accessories before trying to flee the store. However, a kind Samaritan intervened, and a fight broke out. Vasuge issued a threat to shoot the passerby, but eventually dropped the stolen items and ran out of the store.

The suspect's escape, however, was short-lived. Video footage, now part of the cops investigation, shows him trying to flee by leaping from the 2nd floor of the mall. Wasuge hit the ground, fracturing his pelvis and coccyx. He then attempted to limp, but the pain was too much and he lay stretched out on the floor of the mall.

Cops arrived on the scene and arrested Vasuge, who now faces charges of robbery, simple assault, terroristic threats and stalking. The Good Samaritan who intervened in the robbery was not injured.

This incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with criminal activity. Washuge's attempted theft at an Apple store resulted not only in his arrest, but also in a painful injury. The Good Samaritan who intervened in the robbery was brave and selfless, putting himself in danger to protect others.

While such incidents can be frightening, it is comforting to know that law enforcement and casual bystanders are willing to step in and take action when needed. The quick response of the Abington Police Department and the bravery of the Good Samaritan prevented the suspect from causing further harm.
