A family of 5 was involved in an accident with a semi-truck in Columbus, Ohio, Tuesday that took them to the hospital. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. May 24 on the corner of E. Main St. and S. 18th St. According to ABC 6 News, a semi-truck hauling steel beams lost control and crashed into the family's car, causing it to spin out of control and crash into a nearby lamp post. The truck then crashed into a building, causing minor damage.

Three adults and two children in the vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash. Rescuers were called to the scene to clean up the spilled diesel fuel from the truck.
