A nasty incident occurred early Sunday morning in northeast Portland that left a pedestrian dead after being hit by a vehicle, according to the Portland Police Bureau. The accident occurred at the intersection of Northeast 60th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street around 12:15 a.m., prompting police officers to arrive in the area quickly. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the scene, they discovered the lifeless body of a male.

Unfortunately, the driver of the car had fled the scene and despite their best efforts, police were unable to locate him. Unfortunately, at this time, authorities are refraining from providing any details about the suspect or the vehicle.
