House fires can be devastating and life-altering events, leaving families with nothing but the clothes on their backs. It is important to take steps to prevent fires from starting in the first place, such as ensuring that electrical wiring is up to code, keeping flammable materials away from heat sources, and having working smoke detectors installed throughout the home. In the event of a fire, it is important to have an evacuation plan in place and to practice it regularly with all members of the household. By taking these precautions, we can help prevent tragedies like this from occurring in the future.
