Tragedy struck the streets of North Portland on Friday night when a man was shot and killed, according to the Portland Police Bureau. The accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. in the 7600 block of North Portsmouth Avenue, prompting officers to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, and he was immediately driven to a hospital. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, the man succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead.

As of now, the police have not provided any info regarding the suspect or suspects involved in the gunfire. It is also unclear whether or not any arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the shooting, and they are urging anyone with info to come forward.
