In a tragic incident that occurred in southeast Portland over the weekend, a man lost his life in a stabbing near a popular bar and food truck area. The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) responded to a report of a stabbing in the early hours of Sunday morning on Southeast 12th Avenue.

Officers swiftly arrived at the scene, located near the High Dive bar and Cartopia food carts, where they discovered the lifeless body of a man. At this time, the victim has not been identified. The suspect responsible for the stabbing had already fled the scene, and no arrests have been made. PPB has not provided a description of the suspect.
Homicide detectives are currently leading the investigation into this tragic incident.
