The Portland Police Bureau responded to a shooting incident in northeast Portland on Friday night, leaving one man injured. The police arrived at the scene just before 10 p.m. and discovered that two men had been involved in a fight, resulting in one of them being shot. The victim was transported to a hospital via private vehicle, where officers spoke with him. Fortunately, he is expected to survive. The police learned that both the victim and the suspect resided in a nearby apartment complex. The Focus Intervention Team and Enhanced Community Safety Team were called in to investigate, and the Special Emergency Response Team served a search warrant on the suspect's apartment. During the search, a gun believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered.
