A pizza delivery driver turned hero in Pennsylvania after he assisted cops arrest a fleeing suspect involved in a high-speed chase. Tyler Morrell, a driver for Cocco's Pizza, was at the center of a chase during a pizza delivery Sunday. Cops were in chase of a carjacked Kia, when the auto crashed on Preston Street in Middletown Township. The 17-year-old male and alleged driver of the car tried to flee the scene, but Morrell acted quickly to stop him.

As Morrell approached a pizza delivery customer's house, he saw the suspect running toward him. Without thinking, Morrell put his foot out and tripped the man, causing him to fall to the ground. Cops were able to catch the suspect because of Morrell's quick thinking and quick feet. Police praised Morrell for his bravery and his assistance with the arrest. They said he was the reason they were able to catch the suspect. The suspect, Gutierrez-Tehada, faces charges of receiving stolen property, resisting apprehension and other charges. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

Morrell's actions have made him a local hero, with many people hailing his bravery and quick thinking. His employer, Cocco's Pizza, also praised him for his act. The company said in a statement that they were proud of Morrell and that he was the best representative of their team.

Morrell himself downplayed the significance of his actions, saying he was just doing what anyone else would have done in such a situation. He says he was simply trying to help the cops catch the suspect and keep his neighborhood safe. Morrell's modesty has only reinforced his status as a hero, with many saying he is an inspiration to others. This incident also highlighted the dangers that delivery drivers face on a daily basis. While pizza delivery may seem like a simple job, it can be risky, especially when drivers find themselves in the middle of high-speed chases. Morrell's action showed that delivery drivers are not only delivering pizza, but can be a vital part of their communities.
