In a shocking incident that unfolded in the early hours of this morning, law enforcement authorities apprehended a 15-year-old boy for allegedly committing an armed robbery at a gas station convenience store located on SE 82nd Ave. The suspect's identity has not been disclosed due to his status as a minor. Following the incident, the young suspect was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention facility. He now faces charges of Robbery in the Second Degree, a serious offense that carries severe legal consequences.

Promptly responding to the distress call, officers swiftly conducted a thorough search of the vicinity, ultimately locating the suspect and two other individuals in a vehicle on NE 80th Ave. and Northeast Couch Street. While all three occupants were initially detained, diligent investigations by the Major Crimes Unit detectives conclusively determined that only one of them was directly involved in the criminal act.
