An early morning fire caused significant damage to an outbuilding located on the Reynolds High School campus in Gresham, Oregon on Wednesday. According to reports, the fire broke out at around 1:48 a.m. on Southwest Cherry Park Road and was quickly attended by Gresham Fire crews. Upon arrival, firefighters found a three-story building near the track field engulfed in flames. It took over two hours for the teams to bring the fire under control. The blaze caused extensive damage to the building, with the top two floors being gutted and the first floor suffering from water damage. The first floor was used for equipment storage, while coaches, audio, public address, and scoreboard were located on the second and third floors, which were severely affected.

Luckily, no one was injured in the incident, and the Reynolds School District has confirmed that the school will operate as usual despite the fire. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and FOX 12 has attempted to reach out to the Reynolds School District for further details. This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety and the need for caution and responsibility in all aspects of life.
