Late Tuesday night in Pickering, Ontario, Canada, a horrific accident occurred on Highway 401. Three vehicles were involved in the accident and two truck drivers were killed. A tanker truck carrying flammable liquid lost control for unknown reasons and veered into the westbound lane of traffic. The truck then exploded into a fireball, which quickly spread to an oncoming tractor-trailer and passenger vehicle. Unfortunately, both drivers of the truck were killed at the scene.

We took this video from CBC News YouTube Channel.

The occupants of the passenger car were able to get out of the vehicle before the fire and smoke engulfed them. The incident caused several small explosions as the flammable liquid spread. The flames were so intense that firefighters had to use foam to extinguish them.

As a result of the accident, part of Highway 401 was closed throughout Wednesday. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and no further information is available at this time. This tragic accident serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with driving large vehicles carrying hazardous materials. It is important that drivers take all necessary precautions and follow safety protocols to prevent similar accidents in the future.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the two truck drivers who lost their lives in this accident. May they rest in peace.
