A tragic multi-vehicle accident on the northbound 710 Freeway near the 91 Freeway interchange in Long Beach, California, claimed the lives of five people early morning on June 26th. The accident occurred around 4 a.m. and was caused by a car that smashed into an attenuator, causing a chain reaction crash.

We took this video from KTLA 5 YouTube Channel.

According to reports from KTLA 5 News, a dark-colored sedan collided with the attenuator, causing the car to swerve into the lanes of travel. The sedan was then hit by other vehicles, including a semi-truck that caught fire as a result of the impact. The accident resulted in the death of five individuals, and the initial cause of the crash is not yet clear.

The authorities arrived at the scene to assess the situation and provide medical assistance to the victims. However, it was too late for five of them, who lost their lives in the accident. The incident highlights the importance of following traffic regulations and being vigilant when driving, especially during the early morning hours when visibility is low.

As of 6 a.m., only one lane of the 710 northbound freeway was reopened. The remaining three lanes will remain closed until further notice, as the authorities work to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the accident. The closure of the freeway resulted in severe traffic congestion and delays for commuters and travelers passing through the area.
