A tragic accident occurred Friday night in Minneapolis when a speeding car collided with another vehicle, killing four women and a girl. According to the State Patrol, police officers tried to stop the speeding vehicle at about 10:15 p.m. However, the driver ignored the warning and continued driving, eventually entering 46th Street and running a red light at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Lake Street. The speeding driver then crashed into a second vehicle, resulting in a fatal crash.

We took this video from MN CRIME YouTube Channel.

All 4 women and the girl in the second car died at the scene, leaving behind grieving family members and friends. The tragic event sent the community into shock and mourning. The suspect, who was driving over the speed limit, is now in custody. Police said the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The investigation into the incident continues as authorities try to determine the exact cause of the accident and bring those responsible to justice.

This horrific accident is a stark reminder of the importance of following the rules of the road and the dangers of reckless driving. The loss of life in this incident is a tragedy that could have been prevented if the driver had followed the laws and not endangered the lives of others. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this senseless act of negligence.
