Hey folks, check out this video of a crazy crash that happened in Rosedale, Maryland on Tuesday night https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-two-semi-trucks-collide-with-train-in-rosedale,-maryland/.
This is not the first time a train has hit a truck at this crossing. Back in 2013, there was a huge explosion when a train carrying chemicals derailed after hitting a garbage truck. That blast was felt for miles and damaged nearby buildings and cars. I remember seeing it on the news and thinking how lucky I was not to be there.
I don’t know what’s wrong with these drivers who don’t stop at the stop signs or look both ways before crossing the tracks. Maybe they’re in a hurry or distracted or just plain stupid. But they’re putting their lives and others at risk by ignoring the rules of the road. Trains can’t stop on a dime, and they have the right of way. You don’t want to mess with them.
What do you think? Have you ever had a close call with a train on the road? How do you stay safe around railroad crossings?
Read fresh article here, about trucking companies that train CDL drivers and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. The article lists some of the pros and cons of getting your CDL through a company-sponsored program, and also gives some examples of companies that offer this option.
have to say, I’m not a big fan of company-sponsored training. I think it’s better to go to a reputable private school and get your CDL on your own terms. If you’re short on cash, need a job fast, and don’t mind working for one company for a while, then company-sponsored training might be a good option for you. But if you have some savings, want more control over your career, and value your independence, then private school might be a better choice.
What do you guys think? Have you gone through company-sponsored training or private school? What was your experience like?
Hey fellow truckers, I’m having some issues with my KeepTruckin ELD device. I bought it a few months ago after reading this article that praised its features and ease of use:
Hey fellow truckers, I’m having some issues with my KeepTruckin ELD device. I bought it a few months ago after reading this article that praised its features and ease of use: https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/experience/keeptruckin-eld-device/
At first, it seemed to work fine. It connected to my smartphone via Bluetooth and recorded my driving hours, location, speed, and other data. It also synced with the KeepTruckin app and dashboard, where I could view and edit my logs, send messages, and access other features.
But lately, I’ve been experiencing some problems with the device. Sometimes it disconnects from my phone randomly and stops recording my data. Sometimes it freezes or crashes and I have to restart it. Sometimes it shows incorrect or missing information on the app or dashboard. And sometimes it just won’t turn on at all.
I’ve tried contacting the KeepTruckin customer support, but they haven’t been very helpful. They keep telling me to update the device firmware, check the Bluetooth connection, or reset the device. But none of these solutions have worked for me.
Has anyone else had similar issues with the KeepTruckin ELD device? How did you fix them? Is there a way to get a refund or a replacement? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys, I’m in the market for a mini fridge to keep in my truck. I want something that can keep my food and drinks cold and fresh, but also doesn’t take up too much space or power. I came across this article that reviews some of the best mini fridges for truck drivers: https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/experience/best-mini-refrigerator/
Has anyone tried any of these models? What are your experiences and recommendations? I’m leaning towards the Whynter FM-45G 45 Quart Portable Refrigerator because it has a large capacity, a freezer compartment, and a low power consumption. But I’m also curious about the Cooluli Mini Fridge Electric Cooler and Warmer because it can switch between cooling and heating modes and it’s very portable. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
I was browsing the news today and I came across this article about a guy in Indiana who lost his home in a fire caused by a lawn mower explosion.
I was browsing the news today and I came across this article about a guy in Indiana who lost his home in a fire caused by a lawn mower explosion. Apparently, he was mowing his lawn near the back of the house when his mower suddenly blew up and set his house on fire. He and another person managed to escape, but the fire spread quickly and destroyed most of the house. The fire department said it was under investigation, but they confirmed that a lawn mower was involved.
This blew my mind. I had no idea that a lawn mower could explode like that. I mean, I know they have gasoline and oil and stuff, but I always thought they were pretty safe to use. I guess not. Now I’m wondering if I should check my mower for any leaks or defects before I use it next time. Or maybe I should just get an electric one or hire someone else to do it.
Has anyone else heard of this happening before? Is this a common thing? I’m curious to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Saw this article Today https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-law/trucking-regulations-and-compliance/
I think it will be helpful for new drivers. It summarizes the main rules and requirements that we have to follow as CDL drivers. It covers topics like CDL testing, medical certification, suspension systems, experience requirements, DOT standards, HOS rules, ELDs, SFD ratings, drug and alcohol testing, hazmat endorsement, and insurance coverage. It’s a pretty comprehensive and informative article that I think every trucker should read.
What do you think of these regulations? Do you agree with them or do you think they are too strict or too lenient? How do you cope with them in your daily work? Drive safe!
Hi guys, I’m looking for a new job and I saw an ad for Furex on New Jobs 4 You. They claim to have short and stable routes, new equipment, good pay and benefits, and growth opportunities. They also have good reviews from some drivers. Has anyone here worked for them or know someone who has? How is their company culture, dispatch, support, and safety? Are they honest and reliable? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hey men 💪, I wanna share with you an article that I found here https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-tips/healthy-diet-for-truck-drivers/
It talks about how to eat healthy on the road. It has some tips like eating small portions, drinking water instead of soda, and avoiding refined carbs. I think it’s a good read for anyone who wants to improve their health and performance as a driver. What do you think? Do you follow any of these tips or have your own? Share your thoughts and experiences please.
What do you think about this https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-tips/fuel-efficient-trucks-and-semi-trucks-benefits/
I think this article makes some good points. Fuel efficiency is important for truck drivers because it saves us money and reduces our carbon footprint. I’ve been driving a semi truck with a diesel engine for years and I’ve noticed that it gets better mileage than some of the older models. It also has some features that help with fuel efficiency, like aerodynamic design, low rolling resistance tires, and automatic transmission. I think these are great innovations that make trucking more sustainable and profitable. What do you guys think? Do you drive a fuel efficient truck or semi truck? How do you like it?
I was browsing the news today and came across this here https://newjobs4you.com/news/video-west-virginia-zelah-elementary-school-principal-meets-bear-in-dumpster/
Principal came face to face with a bear hiding in his school’s dumpster. He ran like a chicken with its head cut off. I bet he had to pay the water bill after that. I wonder how the bear got into the dumpster in the first place. Maybe it was looking for food or a cozy place to sleep. Either way, that must have been a scary encounter for both of them. What would you do if you saw a bear in the dumpster? Have you ever had a close encounter with a wild animal?
