I have made several attempts to finalize the hiring process. I finally got in touch with someone in recruiting and was waiting for her to call me back and let me know where to go for a drug test. That was a week ago an I have yet to receive the phone call. I've never been treated this way before. I take this as a red flag an it's not meant to be. I was really looking forward to starting a new journey here but it's ok. Don't expect them to call you back, you have to call them.
My dad worked for Bozeman for many years. I hadn’t seen my dad in many years. He was hurt very badly while at work. He ended up dying for several reasons. I have spoke with many other truckers who have said no other company would have taken care of dad like Bozeman did. From the hospital stay in El Paso, helping us with accommodations so his wife and I could be there while he recovered, to transpiration to a local hospital until his death. They treated them both like family, including me. They had checked on him almost daily…making sure all his needs were being met. Cindy…the safety person was amazing. The whole Bozeman team. Who does that! I’m a nurse and not even my own hospital would care for me like Bozeman took care of dad and his wife during the whole process from recovery, to death and after. I don’t know everyone’s names but you all are amazing people and an amazing company! You truly do Love your workers and treat them like family. Thank you to everyone. Jim was blessed to work for such a great company! God bless you all!
I've just filled out my application. Hoping all is good. Really excited to join the JM Bozeman family. I've talked with a few drivers on the road. I heard really good things about this company . I'm a simple man trying my best to live a simple life. I'm in search for a stable job with consistent miles around 2500 to 3000 weekly . Good health benefits and hometime after driving 2 to 5 weeks of traveling. Looking foward to meeting the staff at orientation in 2 weeks. Huge Thanks to my recruiter Sonja for your time on the phone providing me info about the company along with answering my questions. You are awesome!!
I’m not fun of piterbilt but JM Bozeman Equipments Are excellent always super clean Down the road.if the Equipment is Excellent you know the management great.
Kind of hard to get information on the company or get excited about it when after 6 phone call attempts and a text 5 hours ago saying "we will reach out shortly* you still can't get anyone on the phone.
Don’t go there cause one minute your hired and next minute your not so watch the people shade thing there and they never call you about you app. You always call them so most not really needing drivers
Things didn't work out for me there, but they were very nice about it.
Driver of Trailer 20128 is an inconsiderate driver who doesn't understand slower traffic keep right
Awesome company, and great people to work with.
I don't drive any more, just watch and listen from the sidelines. Bozeman is a great company. My son drives locally in the DFW area. He always speaks positively of Bozeman. All you whiners on the road need to get out and dig ditches for a leaving. You are fortunate to have any kind of job. Complaining is all you know. Turn yourself around and realize your fortunate position. Enjoy the freedom you have, enjoy the beauty you see on lots of trips within our amazing country, relish the thought that you can take your significant other with you at times and allow them to experience that same freedom. Your trying to find the perfect job will never happen. Ask not what your employer can do for you. Ask what you can do for your employer. You will be rewarded.
One has to wonder how legit this company is and how much they truly care about their drivers when you can't even speak to a recruiter and and ignoring go through that automated texting and texting and furthermore with companies like that my experience all the doors are locked so more likely you're locked out of even receptionist office recruiters everything
Didn't stay very long due to family issues but if you want to work at the best van trailer company in the United States. JM BOZEMAN IS IT!!! It really is family at JM Bozeman!!
Very friendly people and I'm happy to have a job here
If you like to sit then this is a great company i just started here and have done nothing but sit every place i have been
Hands down one of the best places to work for. I don’t normally write reviews but from my experience with Bozeman drivers should check on this company..
Wish I could be a driver for them, but gotta stay close to home right now. Maybe in the near future. Heard good things about the company.
I found that this place is a very friendly place to work ,the best is that there more family then any other company I've been with
Good place to work great equipment. Wish I would have been given a better chance had a small issue in a bad situation and was let go. Overall company is good place to work.
Just wasn't for me. I like to do my job and go home but they would have me come out and do a 34hr reset on my third day out several times. Tried them several times people are good but there load planners where horrible. Pay is not updated
We drive team for JM Bozeman. All our issues have always been addressed in a timely fashion. No company is perfect, but this one comes close. We have flexibility to run the times we prefer. We stay out 6 weeks and go home for 2 weeks. Most runs are drop and hook and dedicated. We choose to not be on a dedicated lane. Everybody, shop and office is nice. They don't treat you like a number, I believe that if you act like an adult they will treat you like one.
Great laid back environment with top notch equipment and great no hassle pay. Generous home time. Nice loads to pull in the south east and south west.
What is the best part of working at the company? 99% of your time is nighttime driving other than that it a good job you going to make money no doubt about that What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Night time driving nothing more to say What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very good people are very nice What is a typical day like for you at the company? No day just night 2200pm tell 0600 am
It's a great company. I have enjoyed it for almost 4 years now. The equipment is good, dispatch is good, a nice place to work. Turnover is low. A lot of drivers have been here for a long time.
What is the best part of working at the company? Everyone is friendly and they always accommodate any need I may have had. As soon as I get my household under control I will be going back to work for them. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Some of the delivery times run very close on your hours and being fed-ex it can’t be late at all. But that is trucking in general, not a Bozeman only issue. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Great work environment as well as culture. I can’t even think of one bad thing I could say about J.M. Bozeman.
What is the best part of working at the company? Dispatch EQUIPMENT COMMUNICATIONS SAFETY What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Pretty much no issues, a rare find! What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Its like Family! Cant ask for more! What is a typical day like for you at the company? Drive, rarely not much sitting from what I experienced!
It appears that the operations department tells the driver when to do a restart. Even if the driver picks up significant hours in the next 48 hours. The operation department talks down to the drivers. They talk to you as though you don't deserve to drive a Bozeman Truck or haul Bozeman freight. They will misdispatch a driver and then blame the driver when the load is late. They have no respect or appreciation for drivers. There is no such thing as a good driver at this company. In 4 months I have not had 1 official day off.
This is a great company. Great staff and great pay. They do everything they can to help in every way possible. I’d go back again if I could. Thanksguys
I've been there for 3 weeks I've had 3 different trucks and 3 different breakdowns. Trucks are not dependable . The trucks I was in couldn't go 3 states without breaking down and had to come back to Arkansas for repairs.
One of the best bosses I've ever had very understanding if you were doing what you were supposed to be doing you never heard from him. And if you needed something he made sure you got it if he needed something we made sure he got it all in all a great company to work for.
Bozeman was a solid company to work for. Overall my experience was positive and I would recommend anyone willing to stay at for roughly 2 weeks at a time to consider working there. Some issues in dispatch as most trucking companies have at some point or another. Compensation was a little low per mile, but with an active dispatcher the miles were there. More drop and hooks than live loads. Clientele consists of reputable large LTL carriers for the most part and that produces some nice long runs. Benefits are extremely expensive which seems to be the norm these days. Would still be there if not for personal indifferences with dispatch. With the right person in dispatch this could be one of the best experiences in trucking.
Excellent company to work for in most areas. They give the appearance of caring about the drivers but if you have any issues, its nearly impossible to get anyone's attention who will do anything to help. It seemed to be too many drivers and too few dispatchers. I wanted to take two days off every other week. I discussed this with the recruiter from the start. I would run very good miles, sometimes as much as 4000 the first week and then spend Tuesday and Wednesday sitting in a truckstop parking lot for a reset, get home Thursday night or Friday morning and take two more days off and then start another week the same way. I tried to get someone to help me just get home for the off time when my hours ran out instead of doing the reset just before going home each time but no really paid any attention. Other than that problem it was great. Almost always had a load waiting before I was empty. Shop workers were excellent. Also, they claim to have a 95% drop and hook rate. I averaged all my trip paperwork to be just slightly above 50%. Also, when I left, the did pay every cent they owed to me. That says a lot about a company.
