New chief safety officer for FMCSA. She’s supposed to be in charge of promoting and enforcing the agency’s safety mission and working with other government agencies and partners. Sounds like she knows what she’s doing, but I wonder how she’s gonna deal with all the challenges and issues we face as truckers. Your thoughts?
have you seen this article about the EPA and their crazy emission standards? They want us to cut 90% of NOx emissions by 2031 and switch to electric trucks by 2040. What a bunch of nonsense!
I think all of these are based on faulty science and data. Electric trucks are a joke. They are expensive, unreliable, and impractical. They have limited range, long charging times, and low performance.
I do not know, maybe you have a different opinion, but this is mine
Here is the article I read: https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/road-safety/trucking-emission-standards/
I’m thinking of joining the HAZMAT crew. I’ve been reading this article about the do’s and don’ts of hauling dangerous goods by different ways of transport, and I’ve got some questions. https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/trucking-documentation/dangerous-goods-regulations/
Thanks folks
Nasty crash in Vancouver that sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries. You never know when something like this might happen, so you gotta be alert and prepared at all times. I’m glad the firefighters and the police were quick to respond and help out. They did a great job 🚓🚒👏
Can someone explain to me why they have these limits and how they are determined?

I mean, I get that they don’t want us to damage the roads or cause accidents, but some of these rules seem too complicated and unfair. Like, why do we have to follow the federal bridge formula and the state axle limits? Seems like they just want to make our lives harder. Anyone else feel the same way?
It’s crazy how these things keep happening. I feel sorry for the families of the victims, especially the 15-year-old kid who died. That’s just messed up. The shooter is still on the run, and the cops are looking for him. I hope they catch him soon and lock him up for good.
Hey, y’all. I’m trying to figure out this article abouttruck inspections. It’s a little bit complicated for me, and I have some questions?
Saw a new company listed here Mesilla Valley and I’m kinda interested. They say they have more miles, less downtime, and more cash. Sounds good to me, but I’m not sure if they’re legit or not. Anyone here have any experience with them? How’s their equipment, home-time, dispatch, and salary? I’m looking for some honest feedback before applying. Thanks in advance.

I want to share this news with you guys. Semi truck collision in Utah that left no hospitalizations. That’s a miracle, considering how bad the weather was. The trucker said he hydroplaned and hit three cars before stopping at the barrier. I’m glad everyone is okay, but I gotta say, this is why we need to be extra careful on the road when it’s wet. I always slow down and keep a good distance from other vehicles in rainy conditions. Stay safe out there!
Yo, wanna be a FedEx driver someday. I just read this article here, about how they got different programs and trainings. I wanna know more about these, and how they can help me get this job. Do you have something in mind? How long does it take to finish their CDL training program? Thanks in advance
