Wow, this article got me hooked https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/companies/smith-trucking/. Smith Transport sounds like a hell of a company. They got everything a trucker could ask for: big rigs, good pay, steady work, and respect. I’m tired of working for these cheap-ass outfits that don’t give a damn about their drivers. I need a change, and Smith Transport might be it.
Has anyone worked for them or is working currently? Please give me some feedback so that I don’t waste my time on worthless shit. Or maybe you have other suggestions?
Hey gearjammers, read this article about the future of electric trucks and I gotta say, I'm not impressed. Sure, they claim these things can save fuel, reduce emissions, and run quieter, but what about the real issues that matter to us truckers?
First of all, how reliable are these electric motors? I don't want to be stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery or a fried circuit. And how long does it take to charge them up?
I don't know about you guys, but I love my diesel truck. It's got a roaring engine, a smooth transmission, and a classic look. It's my home away from home, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Electric trucks may be the future, but they're not for me. What do you think?
Damn, did y'all hear about that bust at the Calexico border ? Some dumbass tried to smuggle over 2,000 pounds of meth in a produce trailer. How stupid can you be? You know they got dogs and scanners and shit. You're just asking to get caught.

I'm glad they got busted, though. That's a lot of meth that could have ended up on the streets and messed up a lot of lives. I don't care what you do in your own time, but don't bring that crap into our country and our communities. We got enough problems as it is.
I hope they throw the book at whoever was behind this. They deserve to rot in jail for a long time. And I hope they find out who was supplying them and shut them down too. These drug cartels are nothing but scum.
Stay safe out there, fellas. And keep your eyes peeled for any shady shit. If you see something, say something. We gotta look out for each other and our country.
Newbie trucker here, and I gotta say, this job is kicking my ass. I've been on the road for a few months now and I've seen some crazy shit out there. From road rage to bad weather to mechanical breakdowns, it's a constant struggle to keep my cool and stay safe.

Today have been reading this article https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/experience/fear-of-driving-personal-stories/ and I'm not gonna lie, though, I have some fears too. Like, what if I get into an accident or get pulled over by the cops? What if I get lost or run out of gas?
And they do get to me. They make me anxious, nervous, and stressed. They make me doubt myself and my abilities. But I don't want to give up. I want to overcome my fears and enjoy the ride.
So, that's my story so far. How about you guys? How long have you been trucking and what do you like or dislike about it? Any tips or advice for a rookie like me?
Hey y'all, Recently have been reading some staff here, and came across this article about the future of autonomous trucks and I gotta say, I'm not impressed.
Hey y'all, Recently have been reading some staff here, and came across this article about the future of autonomous trucks and I gotta say, I'm not impressed. These tech companies think they can just replace us with some fancy robots and sensors, but they don't know shit about trucking. They don't know how to handle bad weather, traffic jams, road hazards, or mechanical problems. They don't know the joy of driving a big rig across this beautiful country, or the pride of delivering goods that keep our economy running.
Sure, they claim that autonomous trucks will make the roads safer, save fuel, and increase productivity. But at what cost? What about the millions of truck drivers who will lose their jobs and livelihoods? What about the small towns and businesses that depend on truckers for their income and services?
I don't know about you, but I'm not ready to give up my steering wheel to some computer that doesn't care about me or my fellow drivers. I'm not ready to let some Silicon Valley nerds take over our industry and ruin our culture.
What do you think? Are you for or against autonomous trucks?
Hey fellow drivers, I just read this article about the best truck stops hidden gems and I gotta say, it’s pretty spot on. I’ve been to a few of these places and they’re worth checking out if you’re ever in the area. Here are some of my favorites:

There are more places on the list that I haven’t been to yet, but I’m planning to visit them soon. If you have any other recommendations for hidden gems, let me know. I’m always looking for new places to explore on the road.
Keep it shiny side up
Y'all, just want to share it with you guys. Former Red Sox star’s son and grandson who died in a murder-suicide. It looks like he killed his kid and then himself with some kind of knife. That’s messed up. This makes me think about how precious life is, and how we should appreciate every day we have. You never know when it’s gonna be your last. That’s why I always try to be a good person, and treat others with respect. Don’t let the stress get to you. And if you need help, don’t be afraid to ask for it. It could save your life and someone else’s. Stay safe out there drivers, and don’t forget to pay the water bill 💪🧠.

I'm a new driver looking for some guidance on finding a good company to work for. I found this article on the best small trucking companies and I'm curious if anyone has any experience with them. The article claims they offer good pay, benefits, and home time, but I don't know how trustworthy it is. Anyone got any feedback on these companies?
I'm looking for a company that respects me and doesn't make me haul too much dead animals or deal with too many police officers. I don't mind driving a Kenworth T-600 or a Mack truck as long as it's in good condition and has a comfortable sleeping compartment. Any suggestions would be welcome
Hey y'all, I need some help with choosing a mobile phone. I read on this website the article on how to choose a mobile phone and it's got me confused. All I want is a phone that can make calls and send texts. And maybe play some tunes when I'm bored. Is that too much to ask?
So can anyone give me some advice on how to choose a mobile phone? What kind of phone do you use?
Thanks in advance for your help. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. Here is the link to that article: https://newjobs4you.com/blogs/experience/how-to-choose-a-mobile-phone/
Read about some truck driver who hit a 13-year-old kid getting off a school bus in Maine. How can you be so careless and not see a cheese wagon with flashing lights? I hope the kid is OK and the driver gets what he deserves. That's my two cents, over and out.
